How to successfully verify your business on Flutterwave
Updated 9 month ago
To complete your account verification on Flutterwave, here are some specific details to guide you during this process.
Ensure that your bank or mobile money account name matches your business/trading name.
Don't verify an unregistered account with a corporate bank account and vice versa.
Your BVN name must match your valid ID and bank account name [for Nigerians].
Use the correct identity number during verification.
Provide original copies of your ID and business registration documents, not photocopies or printed copies.
Ensure that your ID and business registration documents are not laminated, covered by nylon, peeled, broken, or expired.
Take a picture of ID in a well-lit environment, showing the entire image and legible text.
Don't use saved pictures of your ID and business registration documents; use your device's camera to capture a new picture of the original ID or document.
Submit both the front and back of your ID when verifying your ID document.
Place your valid ID on a surface with a distinct color from the ID to enhance visibility.
For registered businesses, all business directors must complete a separate verification process. Each director will receive an email to complete verification.
